Greenlight Comics is more than just a comic shop, it’s a community built around a love of storytelling.
Located in Adelaide, Greenlight Comics has grown into one of Australia’s leading independent comic book stores, offering everything from superhero comics and graphic novels to manga, children’s books and pop culture collectibles. More importantly, it’s a place where people can share their love of great stories.
I’ve spent more than 15 years working in comic retail, helping readers discover books they’ll love, introducing newcomers to the world of comics and building relationships with creators, publishers and customers from around Australia. Being both a retailer and a creator has given me a unique perspective on the industry, allowing me to understand what goes into making a great book as well as helping it find its audience.
One of my favourite parts of Greenlight Comics is being part of Adelaide’s creative community. We’ve hosted signings with incredible local and international creators, supported independent artists, worked with schools and libraries, and helped introduce thousands of people to comics and graphic novels.
Greenlight isn’t just where I work—it’s where I get to share my passion for storytelling. Whether you’re a lifelong comic fan or picking up your very first graphic novel, there’s nothing better than helping someone discover a story they’ll never forget.
